Vision
     The Kazakh National Technical University named after К.I.Satpayev intends to the achievement of high results in becoming internationally recognized scientific research and educational university incorporating specialists and students of various world countries.
Mission and objectives
     Being a leader among the universities on technical education, the Kazakh National Technical University named after K.I.Satpayev will make its contribution into intellectual and professional development of the society by training of specialists with technical education of new generation.
     For this purpose, the mission of KazNTU named after K.I.Satpayev is related to the fulfillment of the key objective of KazNTU named after K.I.Satpayev, namely:

• Direction of its efforts to achieve a contribution to the development of a society based on knowledge by providing educational programs as per continuous education system;
• Development of students through the scientific-research activity, critical thinking, development of professionally oriented skills;
• Use of highly professional learning experience of students in different educational environment;
• Preparation of new competitive generation of technicians for the labor market;
• Development of environment that welcomes and supports people from different cultures and creation of an atmosphere of desire for knowledge, academic integration and intellectual motivation;
• Execution of scientific-research activities, educational activities based on international best practice and development of own brand for specialists training;
• Development of cooperation "University-industry" to meet the requirements of the labor market for technical specialists, to improve the quality of educational training programs of specialists for the economy and business sector;
• Development of additional educational and training programs using multimedia and new technologies of teaching for organization of study on the basis of principle “education through the whole life”;
• Establishment of partnerships with other universities and organizations, in order to improve the quality of education, to support the technical and cultural relations.
